Kiwise Digital started working with Mopod Portable Buildings in November of 2013. Rod Baker is the business owner and he required a complete overhaul of his business website. Mopod Portable Buildings Digital Marketing Project Summary
For the Mopod website, we had to migrate from the Joomla CMS to WordPress using the Genesis Framework. The old website was very outdated in both its design and functionality. We completed a Website Redesign using the Genesis Framework and StudioPress theme. The development of the new WordPress website was the first step of the Kiwise Digital Full Service Package.
The next step was to increase website traffic and drive enquiries and sales. In order to achieve this, we created a digital marketing strategy to target Google Search Users, Social Media Users, Email Users and Referrals Websites.
An Overview of the Kiwise Digital Marketing Strategy for Mopod
To achieve excellent results, we create a digital marketing strategy which outlines the digital marketing goals we will focus on in order to grow the client’s business. For Mopod, we created a plan of action to target four distinct online markets. Read below the overview of the Kiwise Digital Marketing Focus.
Step 1. Target Search Engine Keywords – The first step is to target 20 to 30 popular keyword phrases for the year ahead. Search Engine Optimised website content has a huge role in Search Engine Keyword rankings. We target at least two SEO Blog posts per month. We work together with Rod to create a list of Target Keywords to drive website enquires.
Step 2. Target Social Media Advertising – We manage all the social media marketing for Mopod. Our Digital Marketers and Graphic Designers work together to create effective advertising banners to use for all the Mopod social media accounts. Facebook is the most used social media platform in New Zealand but at Kiwise we also take advantage of other platforms such as LinkedIn, Google Plus and Twitter. We use both paid and organic strategies for social media marketing.
Step 3. Target Email Marketing Campaigns – We prepare and send out Email marketing newsletters to the Mopod clients every month. Email marketing is the most cost effective form of online marketing. The objective of the newsletter is to showcase to your customers the new blog posts, latest promotions and news updates. The goal is for them to complete an action such as visiting the website to send an enquiry or purchase a product.
Step 4. Target Google Search Pay Per Click (PPC) Campaigns – For Mopod, we use both Google Search and Google Re-marketing campaigns. The Digital Marketing team create effective marketing messages and display banners to target the website visitors on the Google Search partner network. We work with Rod to monitor the budget and sales.
Step 5. Daily tracking, Monthly Reporting and Consulting. The Kiwise Digital team create a digital marketing report to summarise the results for the month and establish the goals for the next. The website report includes a breakdown of the traffic results and we also have a discussion with the client via phone call, Skype or they visit our Auckland CBD office.
What are the SEO and Digital Marketing results to date for Mopod?
The Kiwise Digital team manages all the Digital Marketing activities for Mopod. In 2016, the Mopod website recorded an average of 1,250 website visits per month. In 2013, the website averaged 100 visits per month. That is a 1,150% increase in website traffic since we first began managing the Mopod SEO and Digital Marketing. In 2016, 57.6% of website traffic came from Google Organic Search results. From January 2017, the Mopod Portable Buildings website has a total of 859 indexed keywords and 275 are in position 1 to 3 on page 1 of Google Search.

In 2016, the website generated 285 Mopod enquires from a range of interested parties. For this client, there was a more emphasis on organic search campaigns as we were on a more limited budget.
